So we just hired a person for the position I had open. Yay!
Our SaaS hiring system allows us to send form e-mails to candidates we didn't hire. I like to do this because I've been ghosted on too many times on applications.
But damn why can't we just check all 100+ applicants and send the same form e-mail! Why do I have to do this one at a time! Bad design.
@AI78 I have vague memories of a hack involving opening the console & doing some jquery one-liner that would check every box on a web page. I wonder if that sort of thing could work.
(not that you should have to go to such lengths)
@rpardee I had the thought to be honest. Part of the problem is that it's multiple pages and multiple steps/pop-ups. I could hack it together but it would probably take me about as long as it will to just do it manually. And it's a quiet day today so a little busywork isn't so bad.
I really just am annoyed with the bad UX design.
OH, except for the guy who no-showed to the interview. You don't get an e-mail.
