The meteorologist said there's a flood advisory in our area and that we should seek higher ground. In his next sentence, he warned of possible tornados, for which he advised we should take shelter in a basement or lowest level of our home.
My heightened anxiety doesn't know what to do with this information. 😳
@redenigma Our local news covers a tri-state area. The topography varies so I'm somewhat used to mixed messages. I just thought it was humorous that the meteorologist didn't go into detail like usual. Maybe the weather segment was cut short for some reason. Who knows?

@ADignorantium the local tv station was saying there was a huge thunderstorm in Raymond, OMG! watch for tornadoes! this morning, & i was sitting here going "but there isn't! no thunder. no lightning. no wind. just heavy rain. there WAS a large thunderstorm in Nashua, but that's nowhere near Raymond...
i ALWAYS check NOAA for the most accurate weather warnings
