"we all want to be remembered ", is a thing I've heard lots of times.

I'm actually okay with being forgotten. I mean I'd like it if I improved someone's life but actually having them remember me for it? Not really a thing I consider... Is that weird?

(posted this over on The Bad Site, it'll be interesting to see if there's a difference in responses, or what they might be)

It's the brevity of our time alive that makes it precious, I think.

In the grand scheme of things, each of our lives is an incredibly brief thing. What we make of our lives will, in time, be forgotten. That's just inevitable.

But every single one of us, every action we take, will have an impact on others and help shape the future.

We will all eventually be forgotten, but the effects of our lives, our words, our actions, those still shape history.
