So, changed the CPU fan on the PC, reconfigured the others and gave everything a good clean (needed it - if there's any new pathogens discovered this year, my computer may be the source. It was.. gross).

Holy hell is it QUIET now.

@ACG2 Nah, still only 2.30pm (UK). I took the day off so I could get the delivery. Hardly any actual shops round here with pc components, otherwise I'd have gotten something after work
