Has blocked new Counter.social links now? The ones I previously posted work, though there's a warning that it's potentially spammy, but I'm just getting "failed to send" errors when posting new ones now.

Though tbh, I'm not sure if that's malice or incompetence on Twitter's side, the place feels like it's held together with duct tape these days

OH DEAR. THIS POST WAS SET TO SELF-DETONATE 💣 💥 🔥

@66ALW99 No it's actual malice. Check latest Twitter TOS update. If you keep doing it you'll get your account suspended.

@SarnElen Ain't reading that shit, lol 😂

Sorry, not being snarky there, I agree with the sentiment 🙂 I've read the announcement they made (which didn't mention ), I'm just not invested enough to go reading their ToS again 🙂

@66ALW99 Its malice for sure.

I dont have an acct there but does counter(.)social or other link breaking characters not work? Also I wonder if its set to *(anything).social, like would "kiwifruitlovers.social" trigger the fail?

@rgd Oh, I'm sure there are ways to get around it, but it's the principle of the thing that matters. Blocking links is a dick move, regardless of whether it can be gotten around.
