Getting disillusioned with recruitment agencies. So far, my experience with them has mostly been that they post jobs which I have to search out myself, then I have to jump through *additional* hoops to apply through them - not sure they add value to the recruitment process.
Tbh, I'm starting to suspect that some of them, at least in the education sector, are there as data harvesters and to sell additional services such as applying for DBS certificates on your behalf.

@66ALW99 i’m on the flipside of using a recruiting agency, and there are so few qualified applicants that they’re really functioning as headhunters. They just call around using LinkedIn as a way to identify potential candidates and they try to steal them from one place and place them in another place.
