Hubs and I are both making significant career changes, six months apart.
Our marriage counselor:
to Hubs: You'll be able to retire when you're 53? That's young. You have your whole life ahead of you.
To Me: You are brave - what are you late forties or early fifties? That's brave.
@misslovelymess I'm glad he was helpful in spite of that bit of thoughtlessness.
@1ofthesarahs I know. I gave him a look, but didn’t say anything. Should’ve said something, to help him grow. He didn’t even realize.
He did help us, though.
