For about, maybe, half an hour after President Biden announced that he would not be the D nominee in 2024, the Rs must have been ecstatic: "Look, we got rid of Biden! Harris will be a disaster! The Ds will disintegrate! They'll spend the next six weeks in infighting!"

And then, hour after hour, day after day since then, every one of their assumptions has been turning to ash. If they have any kind of introspection or retrospection, they must be wondering where it all went wrong.
