@zacnewman Racists get no quarter, but we (the species) often accuse those we oppose of being racists, when that is not always the case.

That lack of nuance? It's what the forces of fascism rely on. Look for it, and you'll quickly see that it works very well for them.

"We cannot tolerate intolerance." <-- That goes both ways, and being mindful of our own is how we defeat the fascists.

@kel @zacnewman it really depends on the context. Kids are pulled right ALL THE TIME by people who want to convince them that they're being unfairly maligned by evil liberals, and that they're actually just fine the way they are.

There was recently a big Twitter Discourse about this radicalization, with a couple people saying leftists can do better, and a bunch of others accusing the former of being fascistic for saying this.
