Adding my (unsolicited) two-cents worth to making Daylight Savings Time permanent year-round... IMHO, we would be better off staying on Standard Time. We tried year-round DST as an experiment in 1974 and it failed, badly. Most of those advocating this are not old enough to remember, but I do. I was a freshman in college and my 8 a.m. class STARTED before sunrise. In SC. That sucks.

What's up with the site this afternoon? I'm having trouble posting, and the "community firehose" and "my friends" panels are not refreshing...
