He has the nails I always wanted! Wide, long nail beds that make just a little growth look longer. Cuticles push back so easily! Nails are so smooth the polish goes so easy!

I went outside to fill the bird feeder and cry because Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" was playing and it's been THAT week, and... Tiny tomatoes developing on my plant! 💚

The last few days have been really hard. It could actually get harder this week. Like...trauma hard. And every time life takes one of those turns for me, Mister Rogers somehow shows up. I woke up today to a post from Rabbi Danya's substack talking about Mister Rogers and his unconditional love.

I just showed a 9 month old baby that one of my pieces of furniture is actually a piano. I have never seen anyone so excited! Tiny Mozart was having a blast!

We've been rewatching old Star Trek series (serieses? seriepodes?). I've decided humans are best represented by the dachshund.

Loyal. Loving. Fierce as all hell (bred to hunt badgers in the badgers' dens)! But everbody just stands around and says, "Aww! Look at the cute weiner dog!"

Things I'm confused about tonight:

- News about spaceships?
- How did Ted Cruz grow the one beard I don't like?
- Why doesn't anyone in the Marvel movies notice Captain America and Human Torch look exactly alike?

I told my husband ghosts like haunting elevators because it lifts their spirits.

He was in a business meeting later and when it was asked if anyone had anything else to discuss, he told them why ghosts haunt elevators! 😄

I said I was going to have a Mustang someday. Said it ever since I was a little kid. Finally made it to a point in life where a modern one is not completely unaffordable. But now I can't drive because of the seizures.

Fine. I said I would have one. It doesn't have to be one I can drive. I now have the 1960's classic black Mustang I really wanted!

It's been 6 years today. It never stops hurting. But now I know why some of the most sacred wisdom starts with, "Well, my daddy used to say..."
