@TheLegend_AZ Good luck, and let us know when you come out of it and it all went well!

@sazemisery That's what happens when a nope rope frays.

@sfleetucker You're not wrong... that's definitely what happens! 😄

Inktober, day 13. Hydra. More Lernaean, less Lovecraftian, totally a danger noodle.

@amarand It's almost exactly like the shell in the third picture here. Just more of it worn away. Thank you for offering puppies.

We finished searching. The seashell is gone. I realized the night I cleaned the tank was three nights before we restarted it...and the garbage did go out within that time.

I picked that shell up on the beach when I was in high school. It was soothing to hold. I'll never hold it again.

Took a rest from searching for the seashell. Hopefully have narrowed things down enough to find it tomorrow. Calmed myself by knitting a tiny whale. Will take pictures tomorrow.

I might have accidentally thrown a seashell away. But the garbage hasn't been taken out yet. I have to sort through three days of garbage to find it. I've had it for 20+ years. It came from home. I have to find this seashell.

Inktober, day 12. Ghost ship. This has led to conversations about ship design and construction that included the phrase "no shade to the searfaring community, BUT..."

My Inktober prompt today is "ghost ship", so I start looking things up and come across the HMS Eurydice.

Really? REALLY?!

Who thought that was a good idea? They condemned the ship when they named her!

@NoahPaulLeGies That's great! I'd bet you had some eggs sitting at the bottom that finally hatched.

It's been an exhausting day, so I went really simple with my Inktober drawing. I'm betting the fictional person who has slime pouring out of their air vent is having an exhausting day, too.

I restarted the brine shrimp tank tonight. Now we wait and see if babies show up.

Inktober, day 10. I had ideas in mind for a crossroads drawing that would have focused on Hekate, but Robert Johnson was in my mind when I finally picked the pen up.

@BrightEyedDyer They look great! And I pretty much always change colors from one project to another. I'm like, "Yes, you're lovely...I'm tired of looking at you."

Inktober, day 9. Just a quick drawing with markers today. I reject a lot of werewolf lore. In my mind, these are not "wild beasts". When you consider what the body would be doing during transformation, werewolves are trauma survivors who get blamed and feared for their trauma.

Grazer's a big beautiful girl, and she put a lot of work into eating all those salmon. I won't lie, though...I voted for Chunk. Every year, no matter who gets the most votes for Fat Bear Week, we all win. I've been watching Bear Cam ever since it started. I love those bears.

Inktober, day 8. Everybody was so focused on Fat Bear Week last week, the owlbears are feeling a little forgotten.
