The lines are done now. I still think this looks weird. We'll see what happens as color is added.

Experimenting with neurographic art. I don't know how it will turn out, but it supposedly won't just be scribbles.

Finished filling in that doodle page from last night.

I'm trying to not make everything I draw have be a "thing". Just see where ink and paint take me when I open the space sometimes.

- The first page of a new sketchbook is always intimidating for me, but I did get some art time in! Working on some intuitive art methods to just let things pour out of me without worrying about how it will be when finished.

- I don't think I've shared any of my art here yet! For Halloween I found a little inspiration from cubism. I put Victor Frankenstein and the Monster together to make one being.

I had plans for yard decorations, but things happened and plans didn't. A view from the back of our property seems to go with the day, though. I never had Halloweens that actually looked like autumn until I moved to a different part of the US.

Here's another of my ! πŸŒ±πŸ’š Lantana and I go way back and I will not hear any mean things said about her. But they grew in the ground where I'm from. Has to be in a planter where I live now. Butterflies have been stopping to feed as they head south for winter, and lantana will come indoors for a while when it gets colder.

Another plant friend! My lady palm is a little under two feet tall. I've only had her a few months. Sitting to the right is my friend Hayden from the Hookland Doll Emporium.

This is Mother Spider! πŸ’š She'll perk up with temperatures cooling down. We've been together for 5 years and she has sent many of her baby spider plants to other homes.

I'll bring more plant pics later!

Here's a few more plant friends. There are two jade plants. One is grown in the shape of a small tree. Lemon fern in the back, and polka dot plant in the owl planter in front. Polka dot's name is Warner.

Hey, CoSo...loving the pet pics! πŸ’œ Y'all want to meet some plant friends? I have a lot of them, so we'll go in small doses.

This is Keanu Leaves, a golden pothos. This is just a few leaves here. Those vines are loooonnnng!

Also made one of those skeleton faries. Not a dead fairy. I like to imagine them traveling with the Beloved Dead. I drew and painted the wings. The little plastic skeleton glows in the dark. Surprised our cat at first!

This is another of my projects for reclaiming Halloween through crafts.

Our house is an old school, so if the walls look like school walls...well, that's why.

I hear pet pics are loved here. Please meer Chester and Gatsby. Gatsby is the grey catsby. Chester is her best friend. He has two orange brothers who do have names, but we call them "Chester and the Cheetos" when referring to them as a group.

Playing with different things here to learn how they work. I'll share a pic of my mummy lantern!

Halloween is difficult for me. Major trauma trigger. I've been working on getting some of the fun back by doing little crafts.
