@Koore @gemswinc But seriously, he doesn't control all Russia by himself. There's the whole group of criminals/ oligarchs/ nomenklatura who support him for their cut of the takings. What would it take for some of them to decide Putin would be better flying out a window or full of polonium tea? Something in Kursk perhaps? Fear of this is why oligarchs who come under any suspicion tend to stumble out of third floor windows.

@DCliffo Apathy or resignation? Thinking one vote or one office or one election will not make a difference, that we're doomed.

An R in an inconsequential office can't matter. Yet those little Rs grow up into powerful new offices they can use to strip rights from citizens.

Conversely, one election, 2008, gave all Americans health care. This election could give Americans freedom to decide about their own bodies and own loves.

Sanity (fear) prevailed as we realized KKK doesn't really do that democracy stuff, nor have a sense of irony.

Black women +98%
Blacks +86%
Young women +84%

These new voters are mostly not represented in the polls, and are difficult for pollsters to reach. How many young people do you know who will answer the phone to an unknown number?
