Okay, after 7 years, this is where I am catching up with my parents.
Behold - the Maldives (for those who travel on a budget). The resort itself is not as fancy as what people usually imagine when they hear about this country. They also don't serve alcohol here.
However, the water is beautiful, the sand is white, the jungle is luscious, the food is AMAZING, and the people are lovely.
And, instead of booze, they have hookah/shisha. Yay.

@vozoto try to go to an island with a coral reef, particularly if you enjoy snorkelling / diving.
