My wife has been trying for last 1.5 hours to contact all of our study abroad students in Israel. So far only one has responded.
A system that the uni used to use to track students abroad (not real-time tracking) was taken offline a few months ago because of cyber security concerns and which would have come in very handy today. It’s been a manual effort and I hope the uni will recognise they need to pull their finger out and get a new system asap.
All students accounted for.

Once I saw @Render posts I told her and she called her higher ups. It was only after that phone call that the international emergency assistance provider that the uni uses called the directors to tell them about the situation.
