To see remastered like this and also for VR is just ... incredible. Never in a million years could I have imagined this game in VR when it came out ... VR was fantasy back then.

This is wild and wonderful.

Uncover a story of intrigue, betrayal, and a civilization teetering on the brink of collapse as you solve intricate puzzles to unlock the secrets of Riven. Built from the ground-up and expanded from the award-winning original released in 1997.

I do wonder if you're having overheating issues, though. That could explain what you're experiencing.

It's a very powerful firmware with deep features, some of which I don't fully understand. Fortunately the forums are very helpful with setup. Hit me up if you decide to take the plunge. I've been using it since the old Linksys WRT54G.

I can't help you on programmable. The best coffee comes from hands-on processes, IMO: French press, pour over, Aeropress.

Espresso is another thing entirely. I've had some outstanding espresso from (very expensive) automatic machines. But for regular coffee, a drip machine will seriously hold back the potential of your coffee. This assumes you are using excellent coffee in the first place...

nightmare

I had a very vivid dream last night that my desktop PC and phone both got infected by ransomware, and I was completely unprepared for it. Oh, and there was an audio file playing the ransom instructions through a speaker in my CRT monitor. 🧐 Thanks, Benadryl.

I guess it's time to fire up Clonezilla.

Depending on what model you have, I recommend installing the DD-WRT firmware. (As long as you don't mind some nerdy fiddling.)

I have two R7800 models running it - one as gateway; the other AP.

Elite military units would be envious of the level of cohesiveness that happens in such a short amount of time, and that's just the precision and execution end of things. Then you have all of the intra / interpersonal and emotional connections on top of that. You don't fully understand until you see / hear it in person.

Group music performance is the fullest expression of humanity, in my opinion.

Experiences like this are a big part of why I became a music educator.

@q00w2
Like anything else, pain and sacrifice is required before mastery. 😄

I just helped out a couple of my colleagues with a beginner instrumental concert this week. You've got to crawl before you walk and all that.

As a longtime choir nerd and teacher of choir nerds, I fully support this. I did State choir twice in HS and this really brings me back.

One thing you may not realize about these state music conference festival choirs (also bands, orchestras etc) is that these students are only together for about 3 days total of rehearsals plus their concert. They have to show up knowing their music inside out already, and immediately lock into focus with the guest conductor and with each other.

If you haven't already, consider doing your part to keep this sanctuary online. It's definitely a thing worth supporting.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is manufactured. That reaction video has been reused countless times.
