Why in the everloving tiny dick big truck driving hell would you attach four bright white LED lights *to the back of your truck*?

He drove past me in daylight and I wear polarised sunglasses. The lights were still obnoxious once he'd moved over 100m ahead of me.

@kaehlys see that is a call the police for a dangerous driver situation to me guises under a wellness or concern for the driver situation. Are they I’ll? Are they drunk? Are they clueless? Are the dipshits? That is for the popo to find out. Lol

@Thumprhare @kaehlys
I've seen that before. I suspect it may be an anti-tailgating measure. Most likely illegal.

@voltronic @Thumprhare @kaehlys

They're supposed to be used for hunting/camping only and most states require a kill switch so that they can't be used while the vehicle is in gear.

@Render @voltronic @kaehlys

Seeee it could be totally accidental…and the police can let them know. Win. Win.

One of my in laws has one of those high-power LED bars on his truck, but only facing forward. He does use it for finding his deer stand, but I know he doesn't have a kill switch.

@voltronic @Thumprhare @Render My sister and her husband have them wired up to the high beams on their vehicles.

They're so ridiculously bright you can't turn the high beams on if you're following someone closer than several hundred metres, even if you can't see well enough with the low beams.

@voltronic I hate those LEDs with a passion. I wish LED head lights were illegal @Render @kaehlys
