I would say the danger is not so much what is on your computer but whatever your online accounts can access, which in today's day and age is quite substantial.
The most important thing is that you're not reusing passwords. That way if there is a breach and databases are posted like we hear about so often, you don't have all of your accounts compromised all at once.
@voltronic Yes, I was able to avoid that, but my "system" is definitely relying on the fact that I am keeping it to myself (obfuscation is probably a poor principle as far as infosec is concerned, but on my small 'speck of dust in the universe' level I'm hoping it will do for a few more years until I move on to something more automated)
