I wish I had this handy back when I was teaching #musictheory. It's a really effective visualization, and could easily be extended to 7th chords.

@voltronic Me too! Turns out this is a remarkably effective way to convey concepts related to form to people who don't know a lick of theory. I've seen a rondo form version and I think a couple of other form types...
@voltronic I've used this one in my music appreciation classes to explain sonata form! I don't know if it's the same person who created the triads image, but there's a whole series of #musictheory in cookie form
