We have baby Roman today!

Not a normal watch day but there is an issue. Roman is usually watched by paternal grandmother today.

I eant to reiterate, it takes a huge support village for young women &babies. She works her butt off at eldercare place and no assistance from dad.

Past 3 days he's been stalking her. Physically, not just online. Circling around her parking lot and a ton of escalating threats in text.

She reported to police yesterday. There is already a PPO

I would not pay because the platform would never appreciate my mindfulness. Too many shitty ppl put there...I'd be trolled as woke πŸ™„ and I longer wallow on those low frequency emotions.

The more you spend in the higher frequency emotions the happier you will be and minfulness tools can get you there too.

Mom update

Has bad cough since the hip so we had in person Dr visit yesterday

Dr did not like that cough &her oxygen level was quite low (91)

So new meds. Trelligy to open he lungs to capture more air

A antihistamines inhaler for her horrendous allergies

New nebulizer meds

Had tons of blood work, xray and her lungs look good. Her BNP (marker for congestive heart fail was exellent)

Sodium a little low, so stopping Lasix (yay!)

Best news: she gets here hearing aids today!

Paying attention to sounds & sensations is powerful to stop thoughts -

After a minute or two, try to sense/feel your body -- it becomes more fuzzy like a cloud of light pressure.

Why are mindful tools so useful? Because it changes you good ways. Helps anxiety, depression & other struggles.

It flip me from being semi agnostic to very spiritual (tl;dr)

Spirituality (not strict religion) BUT ppl like Jesus, Budda, Mohammed fit into my model. ❀️

Even doing this a minute or two makes a difference. Provides calm moments in the midst of the storm of our thoughts.

GETTING STARTED

Make a point to get outside in nature or nice comfortable place. Take an extra minute to closely examine a flower or your dog/cat or children enjoying themselves. Watch closely how they interact or the flower's beauty. Let everything fall away (every other thought)

If you are going through an external struggle that can't be transformed away. Mindful moments can provide moments of calm/peace in the midst of the storm. This is how I started. Now I use mindfulness to deeply analyze & find solutions.

Example: for 3 years we have been working with my son's alc use disorder. it wasn't until we started mindfully examining each slip-up and progress that we started having real progress πŸ’™
