This is fascinating..all if it
The universe may be a billion years younger than we thought. Scientists are scrambling to figure out why. https://www.nbcnews.com/mach/science/universe-may-be-billion-years-younger-we-thought-scientists-are-ncna1005541 via @NBCNews
@Museek lol what was fascinating in that story was the scientific process.. the were doing standard observations/calculations to support a long standing theory and the observed data didn't match the expected data.. that alone for a scientist is a "holy shit we might be in to ssomething new" moment
New science is hard to come by.. we add on bits like relativity to quantum to string and theories change some but now

Now we are observing new parts of galaxy/universe that are really new areas.. that ghost galaxy topic, I need to read more on to understand it better.. but it's cool because with the black hole tele and gaia project we may be able to actually prove some of these long standing theories in our lifetime..
And at the same time some stuff changes like the age numbers or the Hubble constant etc
Lol it's better than news on earth rn lol
@ucantstop_me *whoops! *lol what’s a billion years in an infinite waltz, anyway? 😂
