@MouthyMisfit Agree completely. There are terrorist attacks that have done less damage to a country, especially over the long-term. If nothing continues to be done, it essentially proves the ruling belief is that the lives of thousands (and perhaps millions) of people are worth less than the conveniences of a large rail corporation. If this were an attack from a foreign country, we'd probably already be beating the war drums and shooting missiles. Makes me nauseous.
@artmyoldfriend It's not just the immediate area of East Palestine that will be affected, either. This stuff is already in the water system and will carry all the way down to the Mississippi river. At least 12 states will have water supplies tainted just from that, not counting the spread from the burn smoke and rain.
I live two states away and am still close enough to be affected. The magnitude of the damage done, and still being allowed to be done, can't be understated.
Still no word on the Norfolk Southern chemical spill from the White House. Seems like everyone from local to federal government is taking the ostrich approach to the worst chemical disaster in recent history: if they don't see it (or mention it) it isn't there.
Wild animals and pets are still dying. People are going to die, too - slowly and painfully, from horrible cancers. The damage is spreading via air and river, thousands of miles away.
People should be going to prison for life over this.
@JuicySonicMagic They just did a tour of Mexico and one show in Los Angeles, I believe, and I think they're heading to Australia next, with Europe later on. No US/Canada dates I've seen. I'll link ya to their schedule.
@Shilohx Definitely one of those songs you can just keep playing on repeat.
@JuicySonicMagic Someone's gotta spread the good word. 😝
