Learning that every incumbent party in a developed nation has been voted out--most by large margins--really gave me a different perspective.

Between the pandemic and global inflation, people are blaming whoever is in office now.

By that measure, Harris did surprisingly well. Much better than most countries. We're divided, not really 50-50, because so many don't participate. But 35-35-30.

In many places, the fascists have a bigger share.

I’m just curious. What is the most depressing book you’ve ever read? For me, it was A Fine Balance. When I thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. Not sorry I read it though. I still think about it from time to time.

This may not be a good time to ask this question but I’d appreciate any responses. Thanks. 🙂

It was an Oprah Book Club pick in 2001 I think. That’s what prompted me to read it.

A River in Darkness by Masaji Ishikawa

It's the story of living in North Korea, facing brutal social consequences, extreme poverty, widespread starvation, and violence...and finally escaping to a life where he's a second class citizen in Japan.

Not the most well written book, but completely harrowing.

Kyle Clark (CO) has been a bright spot in MSM for a few years now.
Move his ass to D.C.
Shove one of the talking heads that refuse to rebut lies out & put Kyle in that seat.

"Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has returned to Congress with a laser-like focus on the issue Coloradans sent her there to solve: underwater space aliens."

Let's all remember... and NEVER forget.

14th Amendment, Sec 3, does not say you must be found guilty of insurrection... only that you participated.

The guy who said he wants to hunt down and prosecute the people responsible for the nonexistent voter fraud that led to Trump losing four years ago.

Swell.
