It's what we typically get in Texas once or twice each winter.
A huge storm, with the weather hovering just above freezing and then dropping below -- sometimes with multiple melt-refreeze cycles over a few days.
Breaks trees and downs power lines and is hell to drive on.
Hasn't happened this year. Been a relatively warm, dry winter, after a wetter than usual summer.
Insect population's gonna be hell come spring.
