My honest opinion is he thought he got hosed by Fox on buying the entertainment assets. He thought those assets would help Disney+ and at the start, it was on its path, but with that and what Bob Chapek did, Iger had to deal with both messes.

I had high hopes for Iger's second run as Disney CEO. I thought he was the face of a corporation should be. However, his second stint has been a disaster and I don't know he it became to be. Is it looking to make Disney profitable making him go insane? For a guy who loves the creative side, he has a lot of anger towards actors and writers right now.

More and more, I think Elmo’s song is “More than Words” by eXtreme. ‘eXposure,’ ‘eXult’ and ‘s3Xy.’

We have tiny houses and tiny libraries. Now, we have tiny gyms. I wonder how much to buy the house and gym? (I left out library because you can build it on your own) bloomberg.com/news/newsletters

Now reading up, Christopher Nolan might be the right-wings hope of entertainment emorywhig.com/batman-christoph

Also, his brother, Jonathan, created “Person of Interest” with Jim Caviezel and Westworld

For people applying for jobs, are you putting on a cover letter with your application? As a recruiter, I don't look into cover letters but with a lot of competition, is it necessary or it's just comfort zone for recruiters and hiring managers?

I’ll be honest that I’m mostly spending my time on Twitter because it was updating real-life events and great for sporting events. Now that might be gone, I’ll probably spend more time here. All needs is resurrect Google Reader prototype and we’re good.

So Twitter is making me bob my head to DMX now. This rebrand only helps DMX’s legacy

It’s been a crazy week. I was suppose to start a project, but it was shot down. I was suppose to do an interview, but the person lost their voice and the position is filled. In addition, it was hazy from the wildfires.

All is made up as Dan Snyder is out and the Josh Harris group are in as Washington Commanders owners. Everyone to Dan Snyder:

Apparently, it’s also Mac and Cheese Day. Carb overload day!

Happy National French Fry Day on Bastille Day!

The writers and actors are going on strike. For the most part, I see most are supporting it and that’s good.

However, when athletes strike, fans are up in arms about greed and they don’t care about the game enough and somehow side with ownership.

It’s an interesting dynamic I observed.

It’s funny that one of my clients asked me to add their company in my profile on LinkedIn and I get tons of responses congratulating me on the new job although it only pays commission and probably won’t stay long if I find something else.

By the way, I’m still looking for a full-time job or a better contract role in recruiting/talent acquisition/talent sourcing. If need be, I can do research, marketing, or some type on content creation.

This doesn’t surprise me the streamers (on the tech side) are holding up on this deal. I think Netflix is the instigator and has more to lose because other studios have a variety of avenues to go to. Netflix doesn’t…except opening a restaurant…during the strike
