I keep getting chewed out by the moderators of the bird forum I found. "Don't talk about your dogs in the bird section! It gives people the impression that dogs are safe for birds to be around!" "You can't link to your blog in your profile! It has links to your Redbubble store!" Lol, I'm gonna be the problem child.

I wonder if we could hack the RNC convention this summer so that instead of Balloons dropping we got a variation of the scene from Carrie, but it's ketchup dropping on everyone?
Just made dinner for the dogs (wild rice, steamed carrots, browned ground beef, coconut oil, flax, vitamins) breakfast for the birds (apple chunks and broccoli tops) and snacks for the birds (dehydrated steamed carrots and cinnamon apple rings that I will string into a garland when dry), and setting up the bird's sprout bowls where they play in misted seedlings. The apples were made into tidy circles so I can take some to the neighbors. I had two cans of spaghetti-Os.

aw, I love this. a zookeeper was transporting incubating flamingo eggs, her incubator broke during the flight, so a flight attendant came to the rescue to keep the eggs warm enough for the hatchlings to survive. now the little flamingos are all hatched.

I decided I really shouldn't let myself go to the bird show for a female because I can barely keep up with my chores, I shouldn't start breeding, even if I've wanted to since I was a teen. I'm so bummed out. I want to smack myself upside the back of my head for being so stupidly responsible.

Next is a special one. This is mulberry paper. Years ago, friends of ours sent us some beautiful handmade papers. This was in it. Made of mulberry fibers and gold leaf. It matches the palette I'm using so the paper was used.
