@Alfred Joe asks this as a test question to bots, does the phrase, "Wut...iz..ur..fav..rute..co...lor" confuse you in any way?

Joe's over here ruining my new project plans by being generous when I'm all, "No really, if I use materials that are on hand and document the results, I get to have fun writing and illustrating cool bullet journal pages."

I have waaaay too much to do to suddenly get the juicy urge to observe my kefir with the microscope and sketch what I see, then learn more about the specific microbes involved. I still have chores left from when we were without water for a month, I've had too many errands to keep on top of it. Sigh. Time for another pot of coffee.

The sims fan in me will love when I finally buy that chia llama I just found.

Oh, wait. Birds can eat chia, they like it best when it's been sprouted and then dried. I can get a chia sheep I routinely "shear". Also, goode mornin'.

Cacao syrup water kefir went boom with sediment filled foam, making a small mess that tasted like what chocolate stout wishes it tasted like. Once the foam was swiped out, it didn't seem full of sediment (too active for it to settle). It is tasty, with a lot of potential. I will make a soda I call "Cacao Pow". Might add a pinch of orange zest. I need to get a hold of the pod form to solve that sediment issue.
Rose flavor needs tweaking, but is nice.

Yay, I finally got spice bush seeds! Native, finches like the seeds, pollinators like the blooms, hosts the beautiful spicebush swallowtail, and you can dry the seeds and grind them for an allspice type spice. Never identified it positively in the wild, now I have a shrub for the spot the rose was in (don't want my dogs to get scratched when they have the zoomies).

By the way, even if you dig "way deep" to remove a rose, it still might try to come back occasionally for a few years.

If you're doing your shopping for Valentine's Day this weekend, here's a suggestion for a meal that can be eaten by humans or pets. What can be more romantic than beef heart on this day of bleeding love?

Someone out there is doing their Year of the Dragon party right.

Just in case you thought the overturning of Roe v Wade and the subsequent recently submitted bills from several State Houses to put a women to death for having an abortion was based strictly on religious fervor..

IN THE coming decade, women will hold greater economic power than in previous generations. Women are about to be in control of most of the $30 trillion in personal wealth by 2030.

People have told me they have difficulty telling the difference between a malamute and a husky.

Rather than go into the details, this simple rule of thumb will help.

If it is on the floor, it is a malamute. If it is on the ceiling, it is a husky.
