Well 🤣 I only have myself to blame for the low sleep score.
I have been trying to finish this book for days now. 5 chapters away from the end and I kept falling asleep before the end. Well an hour and 23 minute latency should tell you I got through the end finally. 😂 It was worth it.
19% deep sleep is more than I need for the restorative process and frankly getting through a good book does wonders for the mind and soul ❤️ I really enjoyed this one.
@thewebrecluse Do you use a ring to track? I have been curious about those, as my insomnia has become outrageous.
@BlueStateBabe Yes. I have been using an #Oura since it was first designed - around 2016 - and I post about it here almost daily for a few years now.
Sleep tracking won't help much with insomnia though.Tracking your sleep only gives you information about the quality of sleep you are getting. I use an Oura and an EEG to analyze further.
@BlueStateBabe A doctor can't help you with sleep issues. You need a neurologist that specializes in sleep disorders to really get answers. Sleep tracking is a gauge for everything else, it doesn't really exist by itself. You'll learn you don't sleep well, which you already know, but you won't learn why. You'll learn you don't get enough REM or you don't get enough NREM which again you already know ... As I said ... insomnia is about how you spend your waking hours.
@BlueStateBabe The only aspect of an Oura that might give you some insight is that fact that it tracks daytime stress 24/7 which is basically a combination of data points to give you an idea of what your stress factor is during the day. You could then examine how differences in the amount of fluctuations in your HRV etc effect the sleep you are getting. But again ... it won't give you the why part which is what you need.
