@thewebrecluse not all of us are unaware, sadly we don't get much airtime. Too busy helping folks through it. But we out here. I'm personally quiet online about these things because I'm not wanting to add to the problem of silencing poc and minority voices. But we do exist. Privlage can and should be used to lift people up. Not tear them down. And na that ain't a white savior complex. That's just being decent. I'm tired of the racists having control over the conversation. They don't deserve it.
@vo1de I don't necessarily think that online saviorism (is that a word?) or public allyship etc ... is necessarily the way to go. I don't think performative stuff is a way to help anyone. I think the best way to help people is DIRECTLY or through programs that people have to personally show up for and invest themselves physically and mentally in. No one is saying you don't exist. Certainly not me. What I'm saying is that mostly online you see performance and lack of truth.

Even if you know the truth of the world that doesn't mean you're in a position to actually do much about it. You can only change yourself, you can't change others no matter how much you think you can.
Other people's reality is a one way door with only one key that you don't possess.
All we can do is our best. All we can do is be the best we can for others.
