#ITZY's comeback has been ... less than exciting for me. The teaser for #CAKE is ... too tiny to get a feel for but there is so much hype over it being produced by Black Eyed Pilseung who is famous for a bunch of #TWICE epicness.
I dunno ... I become less and less interested in Kpop groups the more English they spout and ITZY is pushing hard on English songs. I really don't care for Kpop once it's in English ... then it simply becomes tepid pop
Well ... #ITZY's #CAKE has dropped and ... I don't know. Their comeback has been so ... underwhelming. The best part about it was actually the mini documentary they made showing the production work on the album ... it's better than the actual album.
Black Eyed Pilseung writes good songs ... I dunno what this is. It needs a remix that removes the 800 bridges, tempo changes, and other unnecessary interruptions to what is actually a really bangin hook.
Shame.
