Today, I realized that my new iPad could be paired with an old Apple TV and an older, smaller flatscreen television that was sitting unused in the kitchen. Now I have a new writing space where I can focus just on that one task. So happy!

Also, I didn't win a billion dollars. Curses. Foiled again. I was so ready to learn to live in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed.

Every month, Mom and I go through our electronic subscriptions to see what we don’t use anymore. Today, we quit Audible, Starz, iTunes Match, BritBox, and AMC+. We also switched our Disney+/Hulu to the ad version, and bundled Apple News and Apple Fitness along with our other Apple One subscriptions to save $3 a month since we were paying for those separately before. Amazon Prime, Netflix, and HBO Max got a reprieve. Both of us feel great satisfaction each time we reevaluate these subscriptions.

Tonight, I’m making jambalaya for Easter dinner because why not.

Also, I forgot to thaw the turkey in time.

So tired of Missouri political nonsense, y’all. So tired.

I’m going ostrich mode for a couple of weeks. I need a break from my anxious mind. See you on the flip!

Mona saw the university’s orthopedic vet today. She has moderate bowing of her front legs. On a scale of 1-10, she's at 3 on her right front leg and a 4 on the left. Enough to cause some discomfort, but not enough to warrant surgery at this point. For six months, we’re going to track her bad days. In the meantime, she's to lose 2-3 pounds (no more beggin strips 🙈🙉🙊) and give her doggie ibuprofen. Then we can revisit it. Surgery is likely not necessary. He said she is otherwise very healthy. 🎉

Today, we started the early spring garden. Potatoes, carrots, yellow and red onions, lettuce, pak choy, Swiss chard, green onions, and beets. Tonight and tomorrow, there is rain on the way. Just in time!

Send good juju, please. I applied for an editorial position at a statewide magazine that’s 12 miles from my house. Sure would be perfect for me. I hope they think the same.

Off to be trained to assist with running the Missouri Democratic primary. This new primary/caucus process run by political parties instead of by the state/county/city is whackadoodle.

Don’t forget to vote, y’all. Let’s make sanity great again.

The goodest girl. MonyMony got all her shots at the vet today and was very brave.

You know that thing where you sign up for meeting and there is literally no structure at all, just some guy rambling about his life in a way that has no connection to the actual topic? Yeah. I’m leaving this half an hour early. Strategic marketing is what I signed up for. Like…should there not be a strategy somewhere??

They don't have your flair for it. They don't understand that kind of idea when it isn't fully fleshed out for them. Don't rely on someone else's feedback. Trust in the exhilaration you feel about your idea.

♏ SCORPIO 🦂

You have beautiful moments of creative brilliance, Scorpio. You come up with ideas, and you see them through in a grand and dazzling manner. Not everyone can do this, and that is what you have to keep in mind right now. You may have recently shared one of those brilliant ideas of yours with someone who just does not get it.
