Everything I am reading tells me that the Minneapolis Police department is totally out of control.
The union-led workforce thumbs its nose at the chief of police and the city.
A massive clear-out of senior ranks is needed. The culture of the department is rotten. In this kind of a situation, where learned behavior has led to racist assholes dominating leadership and decision-making, firings and retirements are the only viable answer.
