: The end of my right middle finger got smashed by a window pane tonight. It hurt LF, and I swore a lot. That said, if I'd'n't pull my hand back when I did, then it'd've certainly broken my index, middle, and ring fingers in the middle.

Note: About 1/8 of these are read, but I keep them in circulation because I reread them periodically, such as "The Silence of the Lambs" and all Agatha Christie mysteries.
