: I run into this perhaps more than any other. People will say something is a fact or not, and then instead of presenting a case for it, they will demand others to prove that they are wrong. Near invariably, they will not accept the notion that it's up to them to prove the assertion they made, not for others to prove them incorrect.

Don't let emotions and brain chemistry keep you in an argument that's pointless. It's a waste of both, not to mention time.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes watched the unhinged speech and concluded: "This is not a colossus, this is not the big bad wolf, this is not a vigorous and incredibly deft political communicator. This is an old man in decline who's been doing the same schtick for a very long time and it's really wearing thin."

I hope others see that …

I did not know I was that tired, though now that I think about it, I was yawning a LOT for the veinte minutos prior to my getting into bed.

Holy moly anyway.

: If I won the lottery, there would be signs. I would puzzle the builders, and I'd do so by telling them, "I want this place not only up to code but better, and also... I want the exterior to look the same, except of course for the broken windows."

: What was old is new again.

There's a sucker born every minute.

A lie told often enough becomes the truth.

People trained to be worried are easily corralled.

Most would rather be led and/or "rescued" than think and work for any length of time.
