It was so because I had to actually think about it. It's a lot to sort through. I eventually got it down to three candidates:

: This is what it feels like not infrequently to have usually involuntary data processor and extrapolator in your brain all the time, even if you can manage it. Gotta stay on top of it and keep it corralled, contained enough, and on all the tracks. Equilibrium in an open enough system, as any physicist and mathematician will tell you, is always a moving target. It keeps you on your toes, sho nuff.

: I've not gone to bed, of course. I woke up yesterday at just shy of 3 PM EST after going to be at just before 8 AM EST. I'm going to try to stay up until at least 10 or 11 AM EST today, just to make things interesting.

My relationship with circadian rhythm has been complicated all of my life. That said, the older I've gotten, the better I am at managing it... 7 times of 10, maybe 6 times but at least half the time.
