: Several years ago all of it became practically second-nature. That said, what I do have to consciously, continuously work to monitor is for sarcasm, veiled hints and other "signals" being sent that normal people catch but I don't, and such.

: one from my IG vault

For some unknown reason, I didn't give it a filename that included its OP date, but I think I wrote it around 2014 or 2015.

: I noticed during my last two years of high school that it was pretty easy to "walk" people by asking them clarifying questions and thereby getting them to end the conversation having done a 180 (or close to) from their earlier stated "very strong belief" about something... and for them not to notice they wound up arguing against themselves on their own.

That pattern hasn't changed in thirty-five years.

: "Westworld" (HBO) was interesting and quite appealing to me because I related more to the hosts and to Dr. Ford than I did any of the humans.

3/2: It's often the same with people who are so ardently pro-Israel that they quite firmly and unabashedly say that the Israelis should "kill'em all and let God sort'em out" when it comes to the Palestinians.

Emotions are the nose rings humans get led around by by other humans.

: This quiz was taken several years ago, circa late 2014. My therapist referred me to a shrink specializing in adult autism, and he said in his professional opinion anyone in mental health who didn't notice it prior to my 44th years alive we "motherfucking blind". I went to see another, blind, and she took longer but came to the same conclusion. So I'd three independent, confirming dx'es. My neuros apologized because they'd seen the signs but didn't connect them.

: Echolalia. I still do it. I am audial AF. It's my dominant learning sense. I collect sounds, terms, phrases, and information, all keyed to specific emotions, memories, and/or data. I learned to echo in my head in my preteens because I used to get in trouble at home and at school for it. (It was not fun.) Since I was maybe 48 I haven't given a shit, and so I re-allowed myself to vocalize, though still some moderated.

: I first noticed the in my preteens. Time only confirmed the phenomenon. It's one of the key reasons I trust behavior and not rhetoric... or generally as a . A Boomer can be cool, but the more of them are amassed, the worse things tend to get.

: I've before here on touched on my the topic of me and , and here's another thing I wrote about it no long ago but not here.

: My old bestie sidekick fren Meecko and I have the same energy. She was and still is the best gorl, just now older than she was five years ago.

It is distinctly possible she was , too. Her vets even said so.

: another from the IG vault, from some time in 2015

Folks tell me I'm wrong and stuff, unless their shrinks, psychologists, therapists, social workers, or others with direct, long-term experience with the realities of human behavior. Those folks tell me, "That is sad but true far more often than not."

: from my FB years ago, a while before I was dx'ed autistic, well before that was ever even on the radar as a possibility
