My problem this time was one inherited from the previous owner who was stupid, and it was undetectable by casual inspection.
I noticed it because of a small detail in the basement and on one side of the outside of the house.

@thedisasterautist Plumbing is the sh!t. Said as someone who has memorized the location of many blue toilets on river routes in Canada. You don't appreciate them until you don't have them.
