@thedisasterautist I don't even let it happen once. I'll call them out loudly and then give them a lecture about doing it ever again.

Same thing with insults, I'll ask them to repeat it and they usually don't.

@dr_zooks: If you don't let it happen once, then it never happens, and you don't have to worry about it. For me, when it does happen, I leave. I let them know why I'm heading out, but that's it. I used to argue with them, but no matter what anyone said, it was a lie. I know it all was because of how they behaved when I stayed on. So I stopped staying on. I don't do office or any other group politics. I'm bad at it because I'm a very poor liar and don't steal others' work/stuff.

@dr_zooks: It rarely happens these days, since my thirties, because of the reputation I got from so doing. That said, I work less, but I'm fine with that.
