We could all have Free Energy, just like they did back in the Ice Age before the Mudfloods wrecked Tartaria, if only the Deep State would stop assassinating geniuses like Tesla and Musk!

@DavidSalo: It was either Asimov or Clarke who used in at least one of his novels that vacuum energy was harnessed in the 2000s or so and that another problem took the place of solid and gaseous pollution: heat pollution, seeing as how energy use produces heat. In the story, the temperature of Earth was increased more than it had been by coal and petroleum use.
