1/2: It is so damn weird — weird as hell — that so many men and women, most of whom I don’t even know at all, don’t live anywhere near, and’ll almost certainly never meet or have much anything to do with beyond a chance meeting IRL or online legit think I want to have sex with them.

2/2: I’m not saying I think they think that. I’m saying that because I’ve been accused of it, online for liking a photo (that’s not nude or even scanty or whatever) or leaving a generic comment on a public post. Yes, men and women... and sometimes others. WTF?

3/2: I mean... I understand why it happens, but I don't *get* it, if that makes sense.

I'm like that about a lot of allegedly/seemingly mundane behaviors and social customs I am told I'm supposed to accept as normal and endure, and by "endure" I mean "let go even if/when people get violent about it" (which some have over time, alas).

@thedisasterautist I try very hard to verify any info before I spread it, but we're all human and can hold mistaken beliefs/assumptions. If someone responds to me with a (fact-based) fact-check, I thank them for the correction.

That's the type of behavior that should be normalized, IMO.
