I've know for a while that "Thank you for your service" or that "I support the troops or veterans", really means "I support the war machine and your sacrifice you made to it so I wouldn't have to". Nobody cares, I doubt they ever did. Died an illegal looks great on a gravestone in Arlington, oh wait they cant be buried there.

There are a few of us who actually do support the efforts, actions and sacrifice of our armed forces.
That being said, 208 Republicans voting against that bill is complete bullshit. If you served this country, you're a citizen of this country.
Period.
