Consider making your own?
Water and soft brown sugar heated until the viscosity changes to an appropriately usable level. Pour, while hot, into hot glass bottles which you have heated in the oven (to sterilize and prevent breaking).
To change the flavour, add your preferred spices.

Not that I've tried this... But like this??

Similar idea but that recipe will make a delicious, toffee-like sauce as opposed to a syrup which contains no fats.
Syrup is chef talk for sugar-water. @leejackson

Oh, I get the simple syrup version..
Dark Brown sugar in place of standard white... with a touch of salt to taste... would be delicious...
I was riffing to add a bit of cream to make it a nice mixin for coffee... or on top of icecream... YUM!
@InvaderGzim
Yes indeed. Home made caramel sauce is the bomb!
@stueytheround @leejackson
Couldn't you also add some cream to keep it viscous and keep in the fridge? Then also some flake sea salt?
more like caramel sauce, but would melt in a cuppa??
