Trump really did expose a deep flaw in America's epistemology. As a country, we're just not very good at examining how the truths we believe are actually true.

@LSWellesley true, but from QAnon, to religions, to antivax, and climate denial, I'm not aware of another country that accords so many unsubstantiated beliefs the same credence as verifiable facts.
Um, QAnon is big in Canada, Germany, India, and Japan, just for starts.
No idea where you're getting your "information" from, but I'd suggest that your "epistemological underpinnings" aren't everything you imagine them to be here.
Ironic, huh?
@mcfate @LSWellesley allow me to demonstrate. None of the countries you've listed have a main opposition party where 70% of registered party members don't believe the election that led to their current political settlement was legitimate.
I'd like to distinguish between "do not believe" and "CLAIM not to believe".
People-in-general are every bit as credulous and dumb in other countries as they are in the US.
I'm sure I could find plenty more.
@mcfate @LSWellesley can you indicate what criteria you're applying to reference Guatemala as a developed country?
Oh, for heaven's sake.
I was expecting you to quibble about the 70%.
This is a silly waste of time, I'm muting it.
@LSWellesley well, not developed ones with education systems anyway.
