It's a bloodbath on Twitter right now. People who are pissed because they lost their blue checkmarks are loudly shaming anyone who bought theirs.

It is super wierd to me that there are a bunch of bot accounts promoting that whale site that was built by the anti-bot guy.

That whale site guy added what he's calling "monetization" which is a massive red flag. If you give him your payment info then you probably aren't all that bright.

You should avoid scrolling the other social media sites right now. There's some horrible stuff out there that is not being moderated very well.
