Everyone loves socks but some people love us a little too much.

It is awful out there. Twitter, Spoutible, Mastodon, Tribel. All are impossible places to be rihgt now and I do not see any of them getting any better any time soon.

This place on its worst day is still better than any other social media site on its best day.

Also none of those are having their best days. Far from it. It is rough out there.

Holy socks are not very religious.

Sock's Social Media Notes:

• Twitter needs no description. It is bad and getting worse every day.
• Mastodon is chaos. Decentralization makes it an unmoderated abusive mess.
• Tribel is an extremely political echo chamber filled with creepy weirdos.
• Post is a shrine to joirnalists and influencers and their fawning stans.
• Spoutible is if those last two had a baby in a high school popularity contest.
• Gab, Truth, Parler are lost causes where idiots dwell.
• Others aren't worth mentioning. 🧦

I have tried every other social media site that I could find. All of them are terrible compared to this place.

The owner's response is basically a demand for his users to deal with it.

So I shall, by logging out and deleting the bookmark.

Socks don't do well with water anyways.

That whale site started slapping arbitrary scores on users.

Don't think I'll be hanging my sock there much anymore.

Some people are whackadoos.

They say that there is no difference between left and right socks.

They are wrong.

What will we ever do without the self-absorbed like chasers?

I do a lot of lurking but I really like it here. 🧦

@CajunBlueAZ1 Me and Right were a perfect match, but then things changed.

I don't even recognize them anymore. Dyed themselves red and started spouting nonsense.

No one ever DMs me asking for sockless pics, which is also nice.

The lack of trolls here is refreshing.
