Talk about truth and professionalism in the news media: how about starting with this small matter.
Please stop referring to the witness as "Stormy Daniels". The woman's name is "Stephanie Gregory Clifford".
If you want to be a journalist and not a gossip entertainer, you can start there.
All week I've been privately saying I expect some appellate level court to step in at the last minute, or for him to do a SCOTUS petition and they issue an emergency stay, or some other crap to delay the trial.
The unfair, preferential treatment he's received in multiple venues so far is literally unbelievable.
But if we make it through the day it appears Trump will finally sit down at a criminal trial for some of his behavior.
At least I've lived long enough to see that. 😐
Wow! Watching John Bolton's interview by Nicole Wallace on MSNBC. If you didn't realize before how much of a misguided, ignorant, ass he is, you have not listened very closely.
Credit to MSNBC to let him air his views so we can all see the type of people who make up the modern Republican Party.
Cable News Blows Off Biden And Bernie Prescription Drug News But Obsesses Over A Poll
It was a classic example of cable news deciding what is news as they focused on a poll and not prescription drug news from President Biden and Sen. Sanders.

I'm big and adult enough to stand up and say that a response should be proportionate, that civilians must not become targets, that aid workers should be valued, that ethnic cleansing is a crime against humanity, that nationalism is an ideological sin, that accidents do not happen they are caused, that food and energy should not be used as weapons, that unpopular politicians crave and engineer wars, and that Netanyahu has to go.
What Biden SAYS is important.
What Biden DOES or DOESN"T DO is what matters.
Stop the #polls.
It's not a horse race.
No one is "leading".
No votes have yet been cast.
These polls and their press coverage are harming #Democracy.
I have been concerned that my continuing focus on the news is shaping an unhealthy and depressing fog around my life.
I'm getting lots of advice to refocus on the positive, watch less news, etc. And I am sure there is merit in such advice.
Even so, I can't embrace the philosophy recommended by this article.
We are all responsible for this world and our fellow travellers, aren't we? If not, happiness seems kind of hollow.

Trump has made a mockery of our judicial system.
We can now see plainly that our Judges are afraid of holding Trump accountable for fear he's going to be elected President in November and they fear the backlash.
In such an historical moment, we might expect SCOTUS to quickly make definitive rulings to restore the guardrails. But alas, . . . 😞
Judges: REVOKE HIS BAIL
GOP Leaders: FIND YOUR COURAGE

Five goals the Press should adopt.
It's really not that hard.

Marilyn Lands wins big in special election.
And Democrats are going to win big in November — no matter what the “polls” say.

The Network Execs should have learned something from this unpleasant incident. But I remain skeptical.

Just watching the GOP Presidential nominee on TV. (Yeah, I don't know why).
And the one word that comes so clearly to me is "scatter-brained".
How is this man still wielding such influence?
Imbecile Ronna McDaniel reaps what she sowed:
@sloudermilk We do need to start over as much as possible. It's not just TFG getting away with stuff. The Carroll case should teach us that while we do want to protect the innocent, the victims should not have a higher risk of dying than getting their money or seeing the criminal locked up. Why it has become common place for these trials to take years is beyond me. Honestly, for the average person, dragging things out is likely worse for them in the long run too.
