@LnzyHou
I hope so. Biden was way late to the dance on this issue. ☹️

I trust that Kamala Harris will be elected in just about 30 days. But she will need to move as quickly as possible to address, arguably, the biggest problem facing our democracy:

-- fixing the Supreme Court.

She must have a plan ready and hit the ground running when the new congress is sworn in in January.

See my comments about "the plan" here.

My overwhelming take-away from the VP debate tonight is:

CBS News sucks.

Why does this evening's debate just seem like another occasion where the Democratic candidate is required to prove that:

obvious facts are true

being informed is better than being ignorant

morality as a good foundation for living life?

Where has journalism gone?

@carmen

Happy 100th birthday President Carter πŸŽ‚

Hope he makes his goal to vote for Kamala! Guessing someone is arranging absentee ballot for him. πŸ’™πŸ§’πŸ’™

A great statesman!

The Biden administration should have gotten rid of DeJoy 4 years ago.

He got the job by being a big dollar donor for Trump. That is not an acceptable qualification to be given control of a critical part of our national infrastructure like the USPS.

I know the President doesn't directly appoint the Postmaster General. But he does appoint the Board members. And he could/should have found a way to boot DeJoy out.

I just put my mail-in ballot in the Maryland Board of Elections drop box!! πŸ˜€ πŸ‘

Proudly cast my blue votes for the Democratic candidates for:

President/Vice President
US Senator
US House Rep

Let the blue wave begin.

Good grief.

The richest country in the world having the worst healthcare is totally unacceptable.

This should probably be one of the highest strategic priorities of the new Harris/Walz administration.

Consuming, what passes as, the news today is sooooo frustrating.

Words have meaning.

When Trump says immigrants are pouring into the country by the millions, performing violent crimes and eating family pets,

the "news" media say it's a "false narrative".

Noooooo It's a lie - a big, fantastic, stinky lie told by a racist and a fascist.

The MSM shift their focus to this developing shit-show and Trump's comments about them. Harris stories move to page 2.

Trump now controls the media narrative. Check.

You might think the proper conclusion would be that our MSM is stupid and easily manipulated.

It is. But there is a more frightening one:

Rich owners of the MSM know an election with a photo finish and the threat of domestic violence will generate more viewers than a Harris blowout over a an old, senile, idiot.

So let me get this straight.

Trump is losing. The MSM are all writing about Harris and her rising popularity.

Trump's team invents a ridiculous, stupid story about immigrant violence in a midwestern red state town.

Trump's minions begin calling in bogus bomb threats at schools in this town.

Local authorities are forced to take extreme safety measures; locking down schools, etc. making the whole story seem real.

Well it was good to see the Commanders with a home win. It's that time once again that I feel optimism. Seems like I would know better by now. 😧

But there is a new owner, GM, and entire coaching staff. And I feel like this rookie QB is a special guy.

Still, it seems like I've been here before. πŸ€”

I've been waiting so long for season 2 of "The Old Man".

And omg @Maude it's just as captivating as I'd hoped. The show didn't miss a beat in continuing this amazing tale.

The storytelling, the complex and fascinating characters, and the beautiful and haunting scenery of the backstory in Afghanistan are mesmerizing.

It' absolutely the best espionage show I've ever seen.

We desperately need to (re)establish news as a PUBLIC SERVICE rather than ENTERTAINMENT.

That means permanently removing the tag of "NEWS" from Fox TV shows. But it also has to include major reform of some kind for all MSM outlets.

One of the many structural components of our democracy that is in need of maintenance.
