This is the thing about Twitter that has always bothered me the most. Public, Civic, and Government, entities should NEVER have depended on Twitter. It's not a public service like the Post Office. It's a commercial, for profit company that is virtually 100% unregulated by government.

Only a tiny portion of Americans ever had or used Twitter accounts.

It's high time to realize Twitter is not THE American town hall communication system.
