I can’t tell if I actually miss the “news” posts on the bird site… Or, if I’m just addicted to the news hype dopamine rush. One thing is for certain though, this place feels more like a comfortable refuge from the hellscape
@skiphunt Try signing up for some free news sites, and if you're interested in a specific field/area, find an industry journal! You don't have to prove you work in the field to get them. Combine that with a paywall-blocker and viola!

@LazMorgenstern I’ve been avoiding the news sites that tend to sensationalize with in-your-face visual delivery. APNEWs is one. I also check NPRnews, MSNBC (though they sensationalize a bit too), Reuters & BBCnews
